Benghazi (west Libya) - MAP - The Chief of the European Union Foreign Policy, Ms. Catherine Ashton, have opened, during her visit on Sunday to Benghazi, EU office in Benghazi a step which is considered as an official recognition to Libyan Interim Council.
In a press conference held Sunday in Benghazi, Ms. Ashton asserted that the EU support for the Libyan rebels will include domains of economic, health, education, security and borders management.
She also emphasized “this support will not stop once, but will continue on the long run.”
