Cyprus announced Sunday its admission by a Palestinian state on the 1967 borders, thus becoming the first European Union’s member country to recognize it.
The admission came in a letter delivered by the President of Cyprus, Mr. Dimitris Christofias, to its Palestinian counterpart, Mr. Mahmud Abbas.
